Learn how to use University learning systems with our online training modules and interactive tutorials

Our online staff training modules provide you with the opportunity to develop your understanding of available tools and improve your students’ experience with recommended settings.

You can choose to attend a webinar or work through the training content at your own pace, using an instructor sandbox module to complete activities designed to reinforce your learning.   

Book onto a webinar

  1. In MyBeckett, click the Communities link and find the All Staff Community.
  2. Click Guides and Training and then click Digital Learning Service Webinars. This will take you to the Digital Learning Service Eventbrite booking page
  3. Browse the list of online sessions available.
  4. To book a webinar you will need to register with Eventbrite, all sessions are for staff and are free.
  5. 'Follow' our Eventbrite page to receive notifications of future webinar training sessions.

1. In MyBeckett, click the Communities link and find the All Staff Community.

2. Click Enrolment Tools in the All Staff Community menu, and find MyBeckett Modules for Self Paced Training. Click the drop-down menu to select a session and then click Enrol.

3. In your Modules list you will see the training module at the bottom of your list (enrolled as a student).

4. Find your Sandbox in your list of modules that you are enrolled as an instructor, this is a place for you to practice and can enrol colleagues too so you can practice collaboratively. 

5. In the Enrolment Tools you can also create a practice module called a 'Sandbox for Training'. Once you click on create you will find it in your Modules list.
