Web browser compatibility

1. Introduction

We recommend you install Google Chrome for use with MyBeckett, Turnitin, PebblePad, Google Apps and Adobe Connect. Chrome is already installed on all staff PCs. Mozilla Firefox is a good alternative, although that's not available on staff PCs.

It's best not to use Internet Explorer unless there is no alternative. If you have to use it, please follow the instructions below, which show you how to alter the browser compatibility settings so you can view Turnitin assignments and the Academic Integrity Tutorial.
Important: If you use Banner or Agresso, please don't change the IE settings. Instead, use Google Chrome to view MyBeckett.

2. View Turnitin / Academic Integrity Tutorial in IE

a. Open your IE browser.
b. Right click at the top of the browser (above the search bar).
c. Click Menu bar
d. More options appear. Click Tools, then click Compatibility View settings.
e. Untick Display intranet sites in Compatibility View, then click Close.
f. View any Turnitin assignment. It displays correctly.
