Course Development Principles
Course Development Principles
Our course design principles have been updated to support colleagues as we modify and enhance our delivery in light of the covid-19 pandemic.
Our research-informed principles continue to inform the design and enhancement of PG and UG courses. The 9 principles remain the same, but the content, links and information on the digital tools have been updated as we move towards a more blended and online approach to teaching and delivery. Course teams should refer to these principles when designing, modifying and enhancing courses.
These principles aim to enhance students’ satisfaction, success and engagement in their studies.
You can download the principles using the buttons below as PDF documents or as MS Word documents. There is also a link and PDF version of the reference and reading list to support the principles.
