clt@leedsbeckett.ac.ukIntroduction
As students progress through their course they develop their subject knowledge. It is important to design a course that allows a student to fully explore the subject and the areas that are of particular interest to them through personalised learning. Make sure you include current research and real world applications to allow students to see that their subject is both relevant and evolving. Designing assessment that allow students to explore areas that interests them personally gives them choice and control with their learning as they approach the end of their course and move into further study or employment.
