LBU Study Ready Introduction
The University’s online resource for new students, created by staff within LLI, DLU and CLT is called LBU Study Ready. It has been updated and refreshed each year and the is an updated version of the previous MOOC module (Preparing to Learn).
The module aims to help students make the transition to HE study. It has tips and advice on what it’s like to study at university and takes a look at some of the key academic skills students need to be successful. Students can access the module at any point during their studies and may find it useful as they undertake their first assignment or as a refresher at the start of Semester 2.
LBU Study Ready can be found on the initial MyBeckett webpage . There is no need to login to access the resource, so students can use it before they arrive at University and can be shared with prospective / new students if you wish to.
We always welcome feedback on the module, especially on how students have engaged with the content. If you have any comments about the module please email firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are interested in creating your own MOOC's or open module then please read the information about Blackboard Open Education here:https://teachlearn.leedsbeckett.ac.uk/guides/mybeckett-and-digital-learning-guides/open-education/
